1. TERMS

Rheem Australia Pty Limited (ABN 21 098 823 511) of 1 Alan Street, Rydalmere, NSW 2116 (Rheem) likes to reward its loyal customers. To check if you are eligible for the $200 GIFT CARD OFFER you must comply with these promotion terms.

These terms set out the basis on which Rheem will offer a $200 GIFT CARD OFFER for the range below in NSW, VIC, ACT, QLD, SA & WA only. This offer is applicable for heat pumps purchased and listed in the Schedule of Participating Products. These include:

a. Rheem Loline and Premier Loline Systems of 250 litres capacity or greater

b. Rheem Hiline and Premier Hiline Systems of 300 litres capacity

This offer is not valid for:

• System sizes below 250 litres capacity or

• Stainless Steel systems in WA or

• Stainless Steel or Vitreous Enamel Solar Ready Tank models where they are purchased and installed as an electric water heater only and not as part of a complete solar water heater system.

The $200 GIFT CARD OFFER is a gift card offer to the Participant on those systems listed in the Schedule of Participating Products and purchased from a participating Authorised Rheem Solar Specialist. This promotion is not a cashback, nor a point-of-sale offer and also not a redemption offer.

2. Promotion Period

This promotion commences on 1st Sept. 2023 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 30th Nov. 2023 (Promotion Period). No extensions to the promotion period will be offered until decided by the Rheem. However, Rheem reserves the right to close the promotion at an earlier date.

3. Eligibility, Registration and Claims

a. Participation is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over (Participant) who purchase a Participating Product from an Authorised Rheem Solar Specialist. (https://www.solar.rheem.com.au/where-to-buy.html )

b. This $200 GIFT CARD OFFER is not available if the Participant is participating in any other Offer relating to Rheem or the Participating Products, or is receiving project, government, or builder pricing, or who subsequently agrees to a rebate arrangement in relation to the Participating Products. Purchases for and in the name of trusts, companies, businesses, commercial or residential developers/ developments and purchases by subcontractors, installers and resellers are not eligible.

4. Government incentives

a. All states in the form of Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) might be available. Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) provide a financial incentive to encourage the installation of solar and Heat Pump water heaters provided under a Federal Government legislated scheme

b. NSW Only - NSW Home Energy Efficiency Retrofit (HEER) is for Heat pump and solar water heaters in households and small business available. The Energy Saving Scheme (ESS) is a certificate trading scheme and not a rebate scheme. Under the ESS, an ACP (Accredited Certificate Provider) creates Energy Savings Certificates (ESCs) for the energy savings that arise from the equipment upgrades delivered.

c. Victoria Only - Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs) are electronic certificates created under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program when certain energy efficiency activities are undertaken in residential or non-residential premises. Some customers may also be eligible for the Solar Homes Program rebate.

d. Financial benefit arising from the tradeable STCs, VEECs & ESCs certificates value is subject to change. Please refer to https://www.solar.rheem.com.au/solar-incentives.html for further details. Can only be claimed after installation is completed.

e. Applicability criteria apply.

5. Interest Free is a separate offer that can be made by the Rheem Solar Specialist at their discretion and cost and not in conjunction with this offer. Finance is offered by Zip Money Payments Pty Ltd (ABN 58 164 440 993) (Australian Credit License 441878) (“ZIP”). The Participant has to be accepted by Zip Money to be eligible and agree to their terms and conditions - https://zip.co/terms and https://zip.co/au/zip-money . 6. To be eligible to participate in the above Offer:

a. A Participant must purchase a Participating Product during the Promotion Period

b. Only 1 claim can be submitted for each Participating Product purchased by the Participant for any one physical property address.

7. Rheem reserves the rights, at any time to:

a. Verify the validity of Registrations, claims and Participants (including their identity, age and place of residence) and

b. Disqualify a Participant who has breached any of these terms.

8. General

a. All costs related to participating in this Promotion, and any tax liability arising out of the participating in this Promotion, are the responsibility of the Participant.

b. This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Offer during the same period unless prior agreement has been made between the individual Rheem Solar Specialist and the Participant.

c. No volume or trade type purchases are eligible under this offer unless Rheem Australia has agreed in writing prior.

d. No further discount, cash, credit or goods of other types will be offered in conjunction with this Offer.

e. All gift card enquiries e.g., lost card, card doesn’t work, fees and charges etc are to be directed to the installing Rheem Solar Specialist who has provided the card.

9. Solar Incentive refers to the financial benefit which can result from creating or assigning the right to create Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs). To receive the financial benefit of STCs for the installation of a solar water heater or heat pump water heater:

a. It is the Owner of the system at the time of its installation who has the right, under the Act, to create or assign their right to create Certificates to a Registered Agent for the installation of an eligible solar hot water or heat pump. No other person or entity can legally create or assign the right to create Certificates unless contractually agreed.

b. You can create Certificates directly by registering with the Clean Energy Regulator and become an Agent or you can assign your right to create Certificates to a registered Agent such as Rheem Australia Pty Ltd (Rheem) ABN 21 098 823 511. You are not obliged to assign your right to create Certificates to Rheem. If you choose to do so, you will receive the financial benefit either by Point-of-Sale Discount or after the Certificates have been created.

c. The time at which a water heater is taken to have been installed (date of installation) is the date when it is first able to produce and deliver hot water heated by both solar energy and its booster and is capable of delivering hot water day or night.

d. Rheem will not pay compensation for any variance and reserves the right to change the price offered for Certificates without notification. Rheem will pay their rate for STCs as at the day of receiving the STC Assignment form.

e. The Rheem STC Assignment form and required supporting documentation, with all required information complete and correct, must be received by the Rheem Administration within 11 months of the installation date, in order to allow the creation of Certificates by Rheem, otherwise a financial benefit may not be paid. Certificates must be created within 12 months of the installation date.

10. Rheem collects Participants’ personal information in order to conduct this Promotion. If the personal information requested by Rheem is not provided, the Participant may not participate in this Promotion. The Participant’s personal information will be handled by Rheem in accordance with its Privacy Policy which can be found at www.rheem.com.au/privacy. By participating in this promotion, each Participant is consenting to Rheem’s handling of the Participant’s personal information in accordance with the Rheem Privacy Policy. This use includes the use of the Participant’s personal information for direct marketing purposes. Participants may choose to opt-out of the use of their personal information for direct marketing purposes by contacting Rheem’s privacy officer either by:

11. A Participant cannot assign or transfer or purport to assign or transfer to any other person any of its rights under these Terms. Rheem may assign or transfer to a related party any of its rights or obligations under these Terms.

Offer not valid on the following models: 5AM315 Rheem Electric Solar Ready SS water heater and 51M250 & 51M315 Rheem Electric Solar Ready VE water heaters when they are purchased and installed as an electric water heater only and not as part of a complete solar water heater system.
